The American supernatural drama television series Midnight, Texas which will soon air on NBC is entirely based on the book series of the same name written by Charlaine Harris who has also penned down the storyline of True Blood. Commissioned to be a television series on May 13, 2016, the respective series will air its pilot episode from mid of 2017. Based entirely on non-fictional elements, almost all the characters are deprived of being unnatural or superficial.
As per the plot, being normal in this particular region is pretty unnatural and abnormal as the people around look visitors in a strange manner. Also, almost all people dwelling here are abided by supernatural activities. Taking the vision of Mr Robot to next level and amalgamating the famous book likewise True Blood, comes a journey into a remote area of Texas where no one is what they seem or actually appear.
From vampires, witches, psychics, to hit men, the remote place named as Midnight is a mysterious haven and abode for those who are “different”. As the dwellers from the town, struggle to reside and fight off external pressures created by biker gangs, rowdy ruthless cops and nonetheless their own dangerous past, they decide to form a huge community or group acting against the external forces thus forming a strong and unlikely family.
Created by Monica Owusu-Breen and Mark Hentemann, Midnight, Texas has been Produced by David Janollari, Niels Arden Oplev and Mark Hentemann. The series boast of a star cast of François Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Sarah Ramos among others. The upcoming American television series will air from mid of 2017 on NBC.
