The Marathi Film industry is soaring higher with its delivery of breathtaking movies and now the versatile filmmaker Karan Johar urges to be a part of the industry by venturing into it. It seems that the success of Nagraj Manjule’s Sairat starring Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar have impressed Karan a lot. Therefore, he has taken the decision to contribute in the Marathi Film Industry. However, there haven’t been any official confirmation by Karan about the same yet.

The Marathi Film industry is given a lot of emphases when it comes to recognition of talented actors and directors. Movies such as Dombivali Fast, Natarang, Balak-Palak, Shala, Shwass, Natsamrat, Me Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy and so on have kept everyone in awe with the depiction of stellar storylines. Marathi films play a crucial role on the celluloid.

A lot of Bollywood actors have contributed their acting prowess in some of the Marathi movies. Riteish Deshmukh made his Marathi acting debut with the film Lai Bhari, and the viewers highly appreciated the film. Actors such as Tisca Chopra, Gracy Singh, Shibani Dandekar, Gulshan Grover, Jackie Shroff, Urmila Matondkar, Tanishaa Mukherji along with Ashutosh Rana, Tanuja and Sagarika Ghatge have also appeared in Marathi films.

Karan has always come up with surprises for all his fans, and if the news of him contributing in Marathi films is officially confirmed then, the viewers will have a lot to look forward to. And another trait will be added to Karan’s list of skills.

Karan’s last film was Baar Baar Baar Dekho which unfortunately could not perform well at the box office. However, his upcoming movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is all set to hit the silver screens on October 28 which stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan. And the viewers are eagerly waiting to release their curiosity buds with the release of the film.
