The entire world has been over flooding Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra with praises due to their Hollywood ventures, while Kangana Ranaut is not quite impressed with the fact. The actress who is known for speaking her heart out thinks that it makes no sense for the Bollywood actors to be a part of Hollywood right now as the industry is growing at a larger extent out here.
In an exclusive interview with Mid-Day, Kangana said that “If an American film is doing Rs 100 crore business, and not all our films are able to, we may not find adequate screens for home-bred films 10 years down the line.” The actress also added that she would be highly interested in world cinema only if it helps in bringing money as well as employment to India. Therefore, this is a clear indication that Kangana do not want to follow the footsteps of Deepika and Priyanka at this moment and she is happy doing Bollywood movies right now.
Kangana also pointed out that she is extremely keen on bringing back the energetic females on the screens but according to her she doesn’t have quite a lot of company to make it happen and almost all her contemporaries find it difficult to open up without being backlashed.
However, the 30-year-old actress is known for her bold and outspoken self, and she inspires millions of girls to achieve dreams. Nevertheless, Kangan will be next seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon alongside Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor. The promising trailer of the Indian drama movie has already tickled the curiosity buds of the fans and now they just cannot wait for the film’s release.
The plot line of Rangoon is based on the instances occurred during World War II and will hit the silver screens on February 24.
