South Indian movie legend Kamal Haasan is currently shooting for ‘Sabash Naidu’, a much awaited trilingual comedy when he met an accident and got his legs fractured. According to the reports, he slipped from the stairs as he lost control and fell. After the accident he was rushed to the hospital is now admitted to the Apollo hospital. Thankfully, the doctors have confirmed it is a minor fracture.
But the worst part of the news is, due to this accident Kamal will not be able to take part in the London Indian Film Festival (LIFF), where was supposed to receive the Lifetime Achievement award. His plan to visit London was cancelled. He is right now in complete bed rest. However, the actor has expressed his desire to be well as soon as possible, as the shooting of the movie ‘Sabash Naidu’ is still on the floor. The next schedule of the movie will be in Hyderabad. The movie is crucial to Kamal Haasan as he is both acting and directing in the movie.
His other movie that is awaiting its release is ‘Vishwaroopam 2′. The movie is all set to release but due to some post production issues, the movie is postponing its release dates that irritate the actor as he said in an interview. ‘Sabash Naidu’ will be released after Vishwaroopam 2.
Kamal Haasan is one of the living legends of South Indian Industry. Kamal has won 4 National Film Awards and 19 Filmfare Awards and has the record of the highest number of films submitted by India for the Academy Award Best Foreign Language Film. But that was not it. He was titled Kalaimamani in 1979 and awarded the Padma Shri in 1990 and the Padma Bhushan in 2014 for his contribution to the Indian Cinema.
