Anurag Kashyap talked about ‘Giddy‘ openly when asked: “I will direct Giddy next. It is a psychological horror. We are almost done writing the script. Once that’s done, we will decide the cast.”

There is another news that is hovering in the air that Phantom Films will collaborate with Netflix for the streaming giant’s first original Indian series, and Anurag thinks it’s good for Phantom Films, especially for its growth. They will work for Vikram Chandra’s novel Sacred Games, work on which is yet to begin. Kashyap is gearing up for the release of his crime-thriller Raman Raghav 2.0 Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles that will release on 24th of June.

Currently, Anurag Kashyap is in the news for his last release “Udta Punjab”. The movie got a severe blow from the Censor Board and was told to chop 89 scenes and use beep and mute for some slang with the demand of ‘Punjab’ name to be removed. The situation got so hostile that this angry and disappointed producer took legal action through Bombay High Court. The issues of Censor Board’s intervening in almost every important matters where some crude movies go unnoticed. It is an absolute biased mentality of the Board against which he raised his stern voice and the entire country and the film fraternity supported. Anurag is always a rebel soul that gets prominent through his choice of movies.
